3rd week:
Time to Plant!
Finally, it’s time to start the tomatoes and peppers. That means warm weather is just around the corner! Flat Ruthie did a great job placing the tiny seeds in the starter pots. Her small, thin hands were perfect for the job. And as you can see, it only took a few days for the newborn plants to emerge and thrive.
4th week:
Piglets are Big!
Red Rooster Acres was in an uproar when the pigs arrived. There was a leak in the waterer which wasn’t discovered until they had been put in their pen. Jeff and Kim had to run to the farm store to purchase a new one while Flat Ruthie kept an eye on the young pigs. It was a bigger job than she expected.
Flat Ruthie is glad her month as a farm hand is over. Although she made enough cash to continue onto her next fantastic adventure, being a farmhand wiped her out, and she’s ready for a relaxing vacation!
